Dresden, the German writer Erich Kästner who was born here once said, is a wonderful city - "full of art and history, and nevertheless no museum incidentally inhabited by the 650,000 inhabitants of Dresden!"
How right he was - and despite the number of inhabitants (today only about 470.000 people live here) the observation still applies.
Dresden is beautiful, and this beauty is worth discovering it. I invite you to do so: with the distance of a persons that was not born in this city, and with the passion which one receives if one lives here more than half of his life.
